 I found a really interesting site that has some videos of Oldsmobiles, as well as other cars, called classicmusclecars.com, and I've posted up a video from their site ~ the videos are intended to help sell the cars, but they are also pretty informative and interesting.

 Added photos of the Olds Tube Car to the Concepts Section, and added 2 or 3 cars to the registry a couple of days back.

 Added some pictures to the 1970-1979 range. Updated AutoAnything's banner in the Emporium ~ and they also emailed me some new codes for discounts you can enter into their shopping cart if you find something you like over there. Added an entry to the registry. Thanks to Brenden... put in another movie to the Oldsmobiles on TV and in movies section. Thinking about adding 'Live Titles' to the site so that update dates show in the bookmark.

 Its been since July, but I finally have the 1960-1979 finished. The next step is to get some pictures scanned in for that year range.

 We now have a new front page! It has been a long while coming but I've wanted to change the home page message for a long while, since I didn't think that it fit the new(er) website. Previously, my main objective with this website was to provide a full listing of all Oldsmobiles and provide pictures for most of this list. However, the website has grown much more to accomodate many aspects of Oldsmobile. BTW: few Registry updates too!

 Did another update on the Vintage Ads section. Now, each generation (except the ones with very few pictures) have a slideshow link in their heading. Slideshows pop-up in a window, and there is a 7 second delay between images. I hope everyone enjoys this easier way to view the ads!!

 Added a bunch of advertisements to the Vintage Ads section. Adverts added to years: 10s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s - the most added to was the 50s. Still working on that 1960-1979 page!

 Couple of minor updates here and there... Firstly, courtesy of archive.org's 2002 archive of the Oldsmobile website, a video of the last Intrigue. Other minor updates include a rear view shot of the 1956 Golden Rocket, and the addition of Guidestar to the Milestones Section.

 Put in some more terms on the Oldsmobile FAQ page, also working on getting the 1960-1979 page updated with year links at the top as well as adding more models to each year in that range.

 Added a few 1977 XSR pictures to the Concepts section. Another advertisement for the 1990's added. In the Logos section I've added a Final 500 logo.

 OK! Everything is pretty much changed over with regards to the new layout. There is now an Oldsmobile Terms FAQ, (email me with things to add to that if you like). There is now a Automotive News section (an RSS feed for automobile enthusiasts). I've updated the Milestones section (click the history button) with new pictures and layout (long overdue)!

 Changed the look of the front page a bit. Completed the 1980-2002 listing, and added pictures to 1980, 1981, 1987, and 1988.

 Added the Toronado concept (just one pic) to the Concepts section, and added a wallpaper to the 'Other Olds Wallpapers' section (scroll to bottom). Also updated the forum to the newest version.

 A few interesting items: Added the Video section to the Media Index page. There are a few videos there that people are selling on eBay for profit... but the clips are actually public domain and freely available to anyone anyhow. Added another logo to the Logo's section.
Sidenote: disabled hotlinking, not that it was getting out of hand yet, but somehow I've been getting insane amount of hits lately and I didn't want things to get worse. A lot of MYSPACE users linking wallpapers found here as their backgrounds - it's a compliment in a way but still, thats a lot of bandwidth people! I've still left enabled the direct linking (ie: you send someone a link or post a link and the person clicks on it, to access the picture)

 Put up a new section - Oldsmobile Misc. Photos / Scans, in the Media section of the site. No progress on the history movie as of yet, haven't found an easy to use program as of yet!

 No updates for a while now because my computer was down and I had to replace the motherboard and cpu -- however today I am back at it and re-did the banners in the History section. I'm currently putting together a flash animated movie of Oldsmobile history instead of having 10 pages to read.

 The Registry now has a form that you can fill in, instead of emailing me all your info. Added 2 new pictures to the Viking page in Model History. Made up one 'Outright Olds Original Wallpaper' and added 2 other Olds wallpapers.

 Added a few pictures of older cars (1897-1905) in the 'automobile archive' found to the left <<<. A few of the pictures are from trombinoscar.com, he has a great collection of pics!

 Did 1901 to 1912 under the Automobile Archive section (to the left). I've found some small Oldsmobile video's of the Alero that will be added under the media section once I get that part of it up.
I'm trying to get together some nice photos and hopefully make a Outright OIds Calendar. Any contributions of your own Olds will be gladly considered.

 Minor changes here and there. On the left hand menu; updated the Forum Topics to the latest most active posts... also added the Emporium link. Emporium is slightly redone with a new source for t-shirts. I've added a Final 500 Alero to the Registry. Added "Misc. Olds Photos / Scans" to the Media Index Page. (no pics there yet though)
For those interested in site stats, we've had about 400 unique visitors to the site this month. And people visited from Sweeden, Switzerland, Australia, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Great Britain - and of course USA and Canada.

 Some small things changed like most headers on main pages - they were text, now they are graphics. I've also re-done the look of the Registry - the shield thing was looking a little out of place, so I went for something different. I've also added a few cars into the Registry. On a side note, I really appreciate getting additions to the Registry - I think they make a really interesting addition to the site.

 Added a few missing cars that I found while browsing the web, also added 'back to top' links to the 1980-2002 page. Took the 'Google Ads for content' off the links page because I think it was causing too much clutter, and not really adding much content, based on the click through rate.

 Being as it is the begining of the year, I checked up on the links and removed some of the bad ones, also went for a different idea in displaying the links. Just trying to make things easier rather than having one huge page of links in small print. Happy New Year to all !!!
