Vehicle History: This Olds 88 has had a long history of racing and cruising. Back in the mid-50's it ran the drag strips in Minnesota into the 60's when it started being transformed into a great cruiser. While being raced the body mods had been started. These included nosing and decking, shaving the doors, bumpers, and all the trim. A 1954 Desoto grill was added. In 1959 the interior received new tuck-n-roll seats, matching headliner, and door panels along with chroming the window & dash trim in Tijuana.

1970 the chassis was updated with a 1968 Firebird front/rear suspension, power brakes, and power steering along with the 350/AT Chevy. Over the years it switched hands many times and then in 1997 I found it and brought it home. I reworked the old body work and paint along with updating the electrical system. I also frenched in four 1959 Caddy tail lights and the license plate. The body, paint, and flame work I did in my own shop. I also discovered a hidden passion of this Rocket 88 of doing some great smokey burnouts, along with over 80,000 miles of cruising. It's been a great hotrod that I enjoy sharing with everyone.
